Pet Portrait Gallery

Your fur babes with you forever, with an original coloured lightfast portrait

  • Expensive materials are used in the creation of these treasured portraits;
  •  the substrate is either Pastelmat 360 gsm or Fabriano Artistico 640gsm.
  • Coloured Pencils by Faber Castell Polychromos, Albretch Durer, Caran’Dache Luminance, and Derwent light fast.
  • All colours are light fast and archival, which means they won’t fade in years to come, unlike some cheaper brands, and they work well when blended together.

Your guide…

if  you are thinking of ordering an original art piece, I would recommend a lead time of 1 to 2 months be given, so please plan ahead especially if you have a deadline in mind.

The reference photo to be used is so very important as it will determine the amount of detail added to your portrait. So if you order an A4 image, zoom in on your photo to see whether or not it provides the detail needed for A4… see sample on the right  >>

A deposit of £50 secures your commission in my books, the balance payable on completion of the portrait and importantly that you’re happy with it.

I love drawing animals and as I have 2 fur babes of my own, Pet Portraiture is a particular passion. I believe that a photograph alone does not take the place of the unique loving strokes of the artist’s hand. So whether a gift to yourself or a friend a portrait is unique and original.

I welcome your feedback and for all enquiries Please phone or text on the contact number below. Look forward to hearing from you and all about your fur babes
