Welcome to my website
Art brings people together and bridges generations. I want my drawings and paintings to contribute to this togetherness – I see them as a way to give back to society and an expression of my inner self. My greatest hope is that my work will bring joy to others and connection to nature through mixed media.

The energy of the sea is raw and invigorating....
Using acrylic and palette knife loaded with potent colours of Prussian, turquoise and cerulean blue are swept together and spread across the canvas in an energy that resembles the movement of turbulent waters. (More of this in my blog)

My favourite places to visit which warm my heart, (photographs above) are the Peak District where I live on the borders, and the North Yorkshire coast and moorland, all just less than a couple of hours away. I love the extremes of nature’s rocky harsh moorlands, crashing of waves with its powerful magic of colours and the smell of the ozone. The extremes of weather, rumbling clouds, bright illuminated light and mysterious shadows all a feast for the eye and senses as they cast an atmospheric mood over land and sea.
